Congratulations to the 66 Trainees of the 11th Cohort on the Successful Completion of Their Studies at The Youth's Dream Fulfillment Association (YDFA), Siem Reap Province
Siem Reap Province: On the morning of 26 January 2026, The Youth's Dream Fulfillment Association (YDFA) in Siem Reap Province organized a certificate awarding ceremony for vocational training in hospitality and restaurant services for 66 trainees of the 11th cohort, academic year 2025. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Pak Sokhom, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Tourism and Chairman of the HoKa Project Management Committee, representing H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism. The event was also attended by H.E. Dy Rado, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, representing H.E. Prak Sophorn, Governor of Siem Reap Province, along with the Director of the Department of Tourism Vocational Training, the President of The Youth's Dream Fulfillment Association, senior program coordination officers, representatives of Children’s Dream Cambodia Organization, relevant stakeholders, teachers, parents or guardians, and trainees. The total number of participants was approximately 150.
The Youth's Dream Fulfillment Association (YDFA) was officially established on 16 June 2016 with the mission of supporting underprivileged and vulnerable youth by providing vocational training in the hospitality sector, life skills development, and employment opportunities. Each training cohort enrolls approximately 60 students. The association provides training in four vocational specializations: Front office, Food product, Food and Beverage services, and Housekeeping. Trainees are required to complete a 10-month training program, including a four-month practical internship with 26 partner hotels and restaurants. From 2016 to 2025, YDFA trained a total of 533 students, of whom 322 were female. Approximately 93 percent of graduates secured employment upon completion of their training.
Through its youth vocational training programs, the association contributes significantly to the development of human capital in the tourism sector, helping to prepare the industry to welcome both domestic and international tourists while enhancing the quality, professionalism, and diversity of hospitality services.
