Engagement of the Musical Association of the Handicapped in the 2025 Tourism Achievement Exhibition
Over a period of two days, through a strategic collaboration between the Musical Association of the Handicapped (MAH) and the Department of Tourism Vocational Training, the Association participated in the Tourism Achievement and Product Exhibition. This event coincided with the Annual Congress to Review Tourism Performance for 2025 and Formulate the Strategic Direction for 2026, held in Phnom Penh. During the proceedings, the Association mobilized skilled members to provide professional spa and wellness services to the distinguished delegates and participants in attendance.
The provision of specialized spa and wellness services serves as a pivotal factor in enhancing Cambodia’s competitive appeal to international tourists. By integrating high-quality wellness experiences, the sector aims to augment tourist arrivals and encourage extended durations of stay within the Kingdom.
In alignment with regional benchmarks, the Ministry of Tourism has proactively developed competency standards for six specialized spa and wellness vocations. These standards have been integrated into the ASEAN Tourism Professionals framework, ensuring that vocational training is conducted in strict adherence to the Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (MRA-TP).
