Pursat Province: Under the high authorization of His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, technical officials from the Tourism Professional Training Department, led by Mr. Putrea Sophoannara, Deputy Director of the Department, conducted an observation and competency assessment for trainees who completed the in-person Housekeeping training course in Pursat Province from December 14–15, 2025. This six-day training program was held from December 8–13, 2025, at the Pursat Provincial Department of Tourism.
A total of 16 trainees (including 11 females) from hotels and restaurants across Pursat municipality and various districts participated. The training was conducted by core trainers specializing in Housekeeping from the Provincial Department of Tourism, covering 12 core modules:

2. Communication in the Hospitality Sector
3. Service Excellence
4. Housekeeping Equipment and Supplies
5. Linens and Bedding
6. Cleaning and Guest Room Services
7. Preparation for the Next Shift
8. Reporting Systems
9. Providing Additional Housekeeping Services
10. Public Area Cleaning
11. Laundry Procedures
12. Guest Laundry Services
Upon completion of the course, all trainees underwent a competency assessment conducted by assessors from Preah Vihear Province, Ms. Vong Sreydet and Mr. Pol Seumheng. The assessment followed two primary methodologies: Oral Questions and Practical Demonstration. Furthermore, the Ministry of Tourism’s working group performed a Quality Check on each trainee to ensure standards were met.
