Ministry of Tourism Officials Monitor and Evaluate HoKa Hospitality Training for 100 Tourism Professionals in Preah Sihanouk Province
Under the high authorization of His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, a delegation from the Tourism Professional Training Department—led by Deputy Head of Department Mr. Sang Chanthou and three team members—conducted a monitoring and quality evaluation of the HoKa Hospitality Vocational Training Program. The sessions are currently being held from January 9 to 17, 2026, in Preah Sihanouk Province.
This initiative provides specialized training to 100 tourism professionals across four key disciplines: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, and Culinary Arts. The program is a collaborative effort between the HoKa Project Management Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and the Cambodia Association of Travel Agents (CATA), with financial support from the Skills Development Fund (SDF).
This training program is part of the strategic expansion of HoKa’s scope to Preah Sihanouk Province. It aims to strengthen the professional competencies of staff within tourism businesses, enhance service quality, and foster pathways for lifelong learning for tourism professionals, managers, and business owners alike.
