With the high authorization of H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, the Secretariat of the National Committee for Tourism Professionals (NCTP) coordinated and organized a training course for National Master Trainers and National Master Assessors for the Vocational School of Tourism (VST), held from 29 November to 9 December 2025.
This training course features contributions from Ms. Ith Sreykear, ASEAN Outstanding Master Trainer, and Mr. Nick Hyland, ASEAN Master Trainer from William Angliss Institute, Australia, who also serves as a technical expert at the National School of Tourism Vocational Training. A total of 22 selected and accredited master trainers from VST are participating in this program.
The training course aims to strengthen the capacities of National Master Trainers and National Master Assessors in training methodologies and learner assessment in accordance with ASEAN standards (MRA-TP). Participants will gain competencies in developing ASEAN Qualifications, applying ACCSTP training packages, preparing Training Plans, Training Programs, and Session Plans, designing and utilizing Assessment Tools, as well as other technical practices related to MRA-TP implementation.
It is noted that the National School of Tourism Vocational Training has been authorized by the Ministry of Tourism to implement the ASEAN MRA-TP curriculum for six professional areas, including: Front Office, Food and Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Food Production, Tour Guiding, and Travel Agency Operations.
